License Information

JD's Jungle operates under an adult-use retail dispensary licence issued by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM), the regulator created by the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) to oversee the state's legal cannabis market. You can verify any New York licence, including ours, on the OCM's public register at cannabis.ny.gov.

Our licence permits the retail sale of adult-use cannabis products to customers aged 21 and over, in person, at the licensed premises named below. It does not permit cultivation, processing, distribution, delivery outside the terms set by OCM, or sale to anyone under 21. We buy only from New York licensed cultivators, processors and distributors.

A licensed dispensary is the only place in New York where you can be sure what you are buying has been independently lab tested for potency and contaminants, packaged child-resistant, and labelled accurately — and where the tax you pay funds the state's community reinvestment programmes. Unlicensed shops are subject to none of that.

State law requires us to verify that every customer is 21 or over using a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. We check at entry and at the point of sale, every visit, and we are required to refuse service without one. This website also asks you to confirm you are 21 or over before you can browse it.

We are subject to inspection by OCM and to New York's advertising, packaging, security and record-keeping rules. If you believe we have fallen short of them, tell us first via our contact page so we can put it right. You may also raise a complaint directly with the Office of Cannabis Management.
